Jakarta, ProLKN.id – Presiden terpilih Prabowo Subianto dan Wakil Presiden Terpilih Gibran Rakabuming Raka mengucapkan sumpah jabatan dalam Sidang Paripurna MPR RI (Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat) untuk periode 2024-2029. Pembacaan sumpah ini merupakan bagian dari acara pelantikan yang berlangsung di Gedung Nusantara, Senayan, Jakarta, pada Minggu (20/10/2024).

Acara pengucapan sumpah jabatan diawali oleh Prabowo Subianto dengan mengucapkan sumpah sebagai Presiden Republik Indonesia (RI) di hadapan para pimpinan dan anggota MPR.
“Bismillahirrahmannirrahim. Demi Allah, saya bersumpah akan memenuhi kewajiban Presiden Republik Indonesia dengan sebaik-baiknya dan seadil-adilnya, memegang teguh Undang-Undang Dasar dan menjalankan segala undang-undang dan peraturannya dengan selurus-lurusnya serta berbakti kepada nusa dan bangsa,” kata Prabowo, Minggu (20/10/2024).
Kemudian Acara pengucapan sumpah jabatan di lanjutkan oleh Gibran Rakabuming Raka dengan mengucapkan sumpah dan janji sebagai Wakil Presiden RI, di hadapan para pimpinan dan anggota MPR.
“Bismillahirrahmannirrahim. Demi Allah, saya bersumpah akan memenuhi kewajiban Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia dengan sebaik-baiknya dan seadil-adilnya, memegang teguh Undang-Undang Dasar dan menjalankan segala undang-undang dan peraturannya dengan selurus-lurusnya serta berbakti kepada nusa dan bangsa,” ujar Gibran. Setelah mengucapkan sumpah, Prabowo dan Gibran menandatangani berita acara pelantikan bersama pimpinan MPR RI, Minggu (20/10/2024).
Dalam acara tersebut Presiden Joko Widodo terlihat berdiri dan tersenyum saat Prabowo memamerkan berita acara kepada seluruh hadirin. Jokowi dan Prabowo kemudian berjabat tangan dan kembali duduk bersebelahan.
Di kesempatan yang sama Ketua MPR Ahmad Muzani mengungkapkan, dengan diucapkannya sumpah dan janji tersebut, Prabowo Subianto dan Gibran Rakabuming Raka kini resmi menjabat sebagai Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI untuk periode 2024-2029.
“Dengan begitu kami mengajak sidang yang mulia dan hadirin yang terhormat memberikan tepuk tangan yang meriah sebagai tanda penghormatan atas dilantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden 2024-2029,” ucap Muzani.
Acara dilanjutkan dengan pertukaran tempat duduk presiden dari Jokowi ke Prabowo, diikuti pertukaran tempat duduk Ma’ruf Amin dengan Gibran Rakabuming.

Prabowo dan Gibran menggantikan posisi Jokowi dan Ma’ruf Amin yang telah menjabat pada periode 2019-2024. Prabowo resmi menjabat Presiden ke-8 RI dan Gibran sebagai Wapres ke-14 RI.
Usai pelantikan, Prabowo-Gibran melakukan iring-iringan dari Gedung Parlemen ke Istana Negara, Jakarta Pusat. Prabowo-Gibran akan menyapa warga di sepanjang jalan menuju Istana. (*/red)
